Twas the night before Christmas, a comical sight,
Elves wrapping gifts in a merry delight.
Santa practiced yoga to fit down the flue,
While Rudolph tried salsa, antlers askew.
The snowmen were sculpting a snowball brigade,
Competing to see who’d roll the best grade.
The gingerbread men ran off with the cake,
Leaving frosting footprints, a sugary wake.
The tree in the corner, a festive delight,
Decided to tango and lean to the right.
Ornaments jingled, attempting to sing,
Till one fell down with a tinsel-filled fling.
The stockings, mischievous, played hide and seek,
Teasing the family with a cheeky streak.
The eggnog bubbled, escaping the cup,
Causing the cat to perk up and sup.
The turkey, determined to join in the fun,
Wore a Santa hat, said, “Let’s get this done!”
But then Mrs. Claus, with a knowing grin,
Said, “Dinner’s not yet, let the mischief begin!”
Amidst all the chaos, laughter did reign,
Christmas joy, a merry refrain.
For in these moments, the silliness starts,
Bringing together all our merry hearts!
