Socks, Socks, Glorious Socks

In the morning light, I do roam
Searching high and low for a sock to own,
Soft and warm, with a scent so sweet,
I'll find it and claim it with my little paws and teeth.

Oh, the joy of a sock in my grasp
I'll run and play, in a sock-filled blast,
Chasing and tugging, such fun to be had,
Socks are my treasure, my ultimate goal,
I'll hide them under the couch or bed,
In my secret stash, where they're safely led,
I'll guard them with my life, my precious hoard,
Socks are my love, my favorite reward.

So let me frolic and leap with glee,
With socks by my side, I'm as happy as can be,
Athena the husky, ruler of the sock domain,
In a world of warmth and comfort, forever I'll reign.
