Me And My Shadow.

In the quiet dawn, when the world is still,
Obito the Malamute sets forth with a thrill.
His fur, a soft canvas of silvery gray,
Dances with sunlight, chasing shadows away.

With a wag of his tail, he bounds through the grass,
Each leap a soft whisper, each moment a flash.
His eyes, bright like stars in the velvet night sky,
Reflect a sweet spirit as he dashes by.

But there, by his side, a companion so true,
A shadow that follows, both loyal and new.
It stretches and shifts in the warm morning light,
A silent protector, both bold and polite.

Together they venture through meadows and streams,
Obito with joy, and his shadow it gleams.
Through laughter and play, through the whispers of trees,
They weave through the day with a gentle ease.

When the sun starts to dip, painting skies in gold,
Obito, tired, finds a moment to hold.
He curls in a ball, with his shadow so near,
A bond forged in sunshine, in play, in cheer.

In the twilight's embrace, as the stars softly show,
Obito dreams sweetly, with his shadow aglow.
For in every adventure, in joy and in strife,
The pup and his shadow share the gift of life.

Until next time,
Toodke Pip,
Yours Lainey.
