Two regal fluffballs, a Husky, a Mal,
Athena and Obito, my overlords, my pals.
Their kingdom is chaos, their rule iron-clad,
And I, their servant, am simply their lass.
Athena, the diva, with eyes that can slay,
Demands belly rubs “right now”, not someday.
She howls her orders, a melodious decree,
“Bow to my fluff and then fetch me a treat!”
Obito, the Malamute, a powerhouse of fur,
Lumbers through life with a gentleman’s purr.
But don’t be deceived by his calm, stately grace,
When he’s hungry, he’ll plant his paw in your face.
The floors are their playground, with toys strewn about,
Athena digs holes, Obito chews couch.
Mud on the carpet? Oh, that’s a small feat,
I’m just here to vacuum, mop, and repeat.
Walk time’s a circus; they drag me along,
Athena sprints forward, Obito stays strong.
A deer darts past, oh, I’m doomed for sure,
As I surf behind them, their speed a blur.
Meal time’s a frenzy, a chaotic spree,
Athena demands and refuses like she’s royalty.
Obito stares with a deep, solemn plea,
While I trip on kibble they’ve scattered with glee.
And yet, every night when the chaos is through,
They curl up close with eyes so true.
I serve, I toil, but they’ve stolen my soul,
Two furry tyrants who’ve made me whole.
