The fourteenth brings a wondrous sight,
The world is wrapped in endless white.
Each flake, a miracle unseen,
A winter quilt both pure and clean.
The children rush to don their boots,
To build a friend from frosty roots.
A carrot nose, two button eyes,
A snowy friend beneath the skies.
The laughter echoes through the air,
A magic only snow can share.
We catch the flakes on tongue and hand,
Like jewels born to grace the land.
And though it melts when spring will come,
This snow, this joy, this moment won,
Reminds us all what’s truly dear:
The love of Christmas, bright and clear.
