Farewell to February

February whispers its soft goodbye,
With fleeting days and winter’s sigh.
The quiet hum of time moves on,
A shorter month, and soon it’s gone.

It wears a cloak of muted gray,
And hints of spring not far away.
The frost still lingers on the ground,
But somewhere, life begins to sound.

The sun now leans a little near,
Its golden light more warm, more clear.
Snowdrops bloom in hidden places,
Hope reflected in their faces.

For February knows its role,
To bridge the gap and keep us whole.
It teaches hearts to hold the dream,
Of brighter skies and melting streams.

So let us thank these precious days,
This quiet month in softest haze.
Though brief, it holds a gentle power—
A pause before the bloom of flowers.

Farewell, sweet February, kind,
You leave your mark on heart and mind.
And as you fade, we see the way,
To march toward the brighter day.
