The Isles Within Me.

I was born of England’s gentle green,
her fields of wheat, her quiet streams,
where morning mist and village bells
still weave themselves within my soul.

But in my heart, the stories flow
from Ireland’s shores of song and flame,
her laughter bright, her sorrows deep,
her spirit wild, yet never tamed.

Scotland rises in my veins,
her highland winds, her steadfast stone,
a rugged grace, a stubborn pride,
a call that feels like coming home.

And Wales, where voices lift the sky,
where valleys bloom with rain’s embrace,
her language sings, her dragon guards
a timeless strength I can’t replace.

I carry all their love and loss,
their songs, their prayers, their woven past,
four nations bound inside my soul,
a living thread that’s meant to last.

So though I stand as English-born,
I stand for all from whom I came,
and when I speak, I speak with pride,
four beating hearts within my name.
