Nuts About DNA Afghan – Squares 31-35

Welcome back to the, “Nuts About DNA Afghan” series.
Way back in September 2017 I started the journey of making 144 squares for a blanket that would fit a double bed floor to floor.
This blanket/throw/bedspread would be a present for my wonderful Mum.🎁
On new calculations I only need to make 110 squares and a few days before Christmas, I finished the vey last square, joined all 110 squares, added a simple border and this gigantic afghan has now been gifted to my wonderful Mum.🎅🏼

It really was a race against a loud clicking clock, stress levels were extremely high but with a day to spare i stitched the last stitch, weaved in the last yarn tail and boxed and wrapped it.

I used, Scheepjes Stone Washed, in Mums chosen colours,
Moon Stone, Garnet, Corundum Ruby, Citrine, Malachite, Enstatite, and Rose Quartz.
I purchased all the yarn from either Wool Warehouse or Lusciously Loopy Yarn. both are great suppliers.
