For those of you that don’t know I have been trying to learn how to use power tool, well tools in general. My hubby is a qualified plumber so I have had no need to pick up his tools and learn. Having a husband that can put his hand to anything and success is fantastic, the only problem being, he doesn’t want to do any home improvements after a full hard week at work, leaving me disgruntled and frustrated at all the work needs doing around the house. I say house because it does not feel totally like home yet. 

Over the summer I began to learn how to use a mitre saw and a table saw, I’m not 100% confident yet but I am determined to get there. Until we can get our summerhouse kitted out as a workshop or summer comes, learning more about these tools will have to take a back seat. In the mean time though I am going to try my hardest to master the simplest of diys. However this proves rather tricky when all my hubby’s tools are on the job with him.

So when I was very kindly gifted a advent calendar made by Draper Tools, I was over the moon. I now have a head start on growing my own tool collection. I never thought I would be so flipping excited about owning my own tools but I seriously am and that’s why in my excitment I’m going to share the contents of the Draper Tools advent calendar with you.

I don’t want to spoil anyone’s fun if they have this awesome calendar so for now I will share only the windows I have opened.
