The sun finally decided to grace us with its light,
After months of rain, it was a welcome sight
But as we basked in the warmth,
Hosepipe and wildfire warnings crept up from behind

The rain-soaked ground surely can handle the sun's heat, 
But knowing our beautiful England hosepipes will soon be banned, after only a few days of warmth, 
They say Wildfires threatened, despite the constant rain,
It seemed Mother Nature is playing a cruel game.

We laugh at the irony of it all,
Sun shining, 
Rain falling, 
a weather squall.

But hey, that's life in this crazy land
Where the weather never plays game,
So let's embrace the chaos, come what may, 
Sun or rain, we'll dance anyway!
