Crochet land seems to be moving at full speed. There are beautiful patterns popping up all over the show, each one with its own beauty and jaw dropping moments.
It makes life more than difficult as I want to make them all but life won’t play ball and give this crazy hooker a chance to make every single one of them.
A new Crochet Alongs seems to start every week, there is at least four or five I wish I could be hooking along with but I just don’t have the time.
All these jaw dropping patterns makes picking just one for August’s Crochet Crush, a pretty hard challenge.
But I have to say, Black Sheep Crochet “Wrapped In Jamie” Crochet Along, has won my heart.

Those of you that know me, will know that I absolutely love the Tv series Outlander.
I’ve watched it over and over, I own all the books and slowly building up my collection of audio books so I can listen to them while I crochet.
So when I stumbled across “The Warped In Jamie” (Outlander) Crochet Along, my excitement was on fire.
The only trouble is, I have a few deadlines and can’t start it quite yet. 🥺

The Crochet Along is being hosted by the Facebook group, Cal – Crochet A Long and started on September 1st. It will run for 31 weeks and will be held over three seasons.
Season 1 consists of 12 squares, Season 2 includes a big Claire Square and another 8 squares plus triangle options, Season 3 gives you joining options and three different border sizes.
The patterns will be released weekly over the 31 weeks and is written in US terms.

What’s so great about the Wrapped in Jamie Cal is, you can use the squares to make what ever you like, blankets, scarfs, shawls, even bags. You can read all about your opinions here.

Another great thing about this Cal is, all the information available, I don’t think I’ve ever come across a Cal with so much info.
Also the amount of translations available is mind blowing.
Translations are available in UK terms, Dutch, German, French, Czech, Russian, Swedish, Finnish and more.
Yarn packs are also available. Of course you can always pick your own.
